When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Juan Pedro Deppe took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Xacobo Zumaeta to make any attempt to save it. After 15 minutes of play, Talcarehue's Plácido Munita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergi Fenieux was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xacobo Zumaeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caupolicán Raggio in the 20th minute of the match. Plácido Munita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matancilla FC's goalkeeper Sergi Fenieux, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Plácido Munita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergi Fenieux was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Sergi Fenieux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Luis Caamaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Matancilla FC's Juan Pedro Deppe got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Juan Pedro Deppe off the ground.
