Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 2) The audience was convinced that Inocencio White's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergi Fenieux was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Inocente Barrientos kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Zebulón Mahuzier was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Caupolicán Raggio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Caupolicán Raggio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Caupolicán Raggio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Zebulón Mahuzier to make any attempt to save it. Caupolicán Raggio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Telmo Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergi Fenieux was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 23rd minute, Leonides Mutis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Matancilla FC defense, Inocencio White kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergi Fenieux. The Matancilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergi Fenieux should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Matancilla FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Juan Pedro Deppe hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Telmo Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tolten AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Telmo Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergi Fenieux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the game, Telmo Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Sergi Fenieux was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tolten AFC's Zebulón Mahuzier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caupolicán Raggio in the 43rd minute of play. Telmo Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergi Fenieux came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Tolten AFC's Telmo Varela. But to his dismay, Telmo Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After the first half Tolten AFC were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Caupolicán Raggio to strike the kick off in the second half. Caupolicán Raggio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zebulón Mahuzier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, one of Matancilla FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Sergi Fenieux, was totally fooled by Tolten AFC's Rainerio De la Fuente, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some careless play in the Matancilla FC defense, Telmo Varela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergi Fenieux. The Matancilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergi Fenieux should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute of the match, Inocencio White tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sergi Fenieux saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Inocencio White received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sergi Fenieux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Tolten AFC's Inocencio White in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matancilla FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Matancilla FC booed when Tolten AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio White didn't get a good kick on the ball. Telmo Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sergi Fenieux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Inocencio White shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergi Fenieux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Telmo Varela came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tolten AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telmo Varela couldn't finish the play. Tolten AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
