A collision led to Lincai FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Robustiano Faure hit a great ball. Pablo Rossel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lander Puerta, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Iván Luis Dumont hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moraleda's Emilio Vela couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lincai FC. If Lander Puerta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Lander Puerta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lincai FC's Pablo Rossel. Pablo Rossel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Lincai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristeo Patiño came free, but Pablo Rossel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Heliodoro Arriaran's late challenge caught a Lincai FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heliodoro Arriaran helped the player get up and apologised. Pablo Rossel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lander Puerta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0-2 became the score in the 39th minute when Lander Puerta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Lander Puerta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moraleda's supporters rose to their feet, but Lander Puerta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Rossel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Moraleda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lincai FC the free kick. A collision led to Moraleda getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lander Puerta hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Aristeo Ducoing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Lander Puerta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aristeo Patiño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Pablo Rossel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Lincai FC's goalkeeper Pablo Rossel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lander Puerta.
