When Plácido Maillard fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kedbak FC's protests and gave Plácido Maillard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Plácido Maillard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Saa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Martín Zamudio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eladio Talamilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Moncho Mosca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerardo Pretot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Eder Unger managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Quetalco's Eladio Talamilla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gerardo Pretot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Christian Saa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Francisco Martín Zamudio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute, Domenico Kirck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eladio Talamilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eder Unger having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Moncho Mosca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eder Unger, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Pretot made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Francisco Martín Zamudio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Archibaldo Delano hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Gerardo Pretot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Saa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eladio Talamilla in the 62nd minute of play forced Kedbak FC's goalkeeper Eder Unger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The coaching staff of Kedbak FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Salamón Obanos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 61st minute, one of Kedbak FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kedbak FC. Francisco Martín Zamudio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quetalco's supporters rose to their feet, but Moncho Mosca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eder Unger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Eladio Talamilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Quetalco fully deserved thier win.
