Christian Saa came out of the goal and Roldán Manns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laureano Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moncho Mosca in the 31st minute of play. Roldán Manns who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Christian Saa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Laureano Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moncho Mosca, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Eladio Talamilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Laureano Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. Quetalco's Moncho Mosca got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Crea Espacio's goalkeeper Laureano Schmidt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eladio Talamilla.
