Poulus Zubelzu charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Poulus Zubelzu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Uncaliri getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Poulus Zubelzu hit a great ball. Iván Luis Astorga charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Horacio Peronard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardino Astete was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Guabun AFC's Bernardino Astete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Antonio Vivas in the 38th minute of play. Horacio Peronard took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Astete. Bernardino Astete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Horacio Peronard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horacio Peronard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincente Suloaga was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Caicedo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardino Astete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Bernardino Astete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardino Astete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Antonio Vivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Horacio Peronard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Bernardino Astete made a huge save. If Vincente Suloaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Uncaliri could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guabun AFC throughout the match.
