After 19 played minutes, Herradura AFC's Pablo Cristofanini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raúl Adelsdorfer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Herradura AFC reached it. Raúl Adelsdorfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Antonio Rajcevich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes of play, Herradura AFC's José Antonio Rajcevich made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raúl Adelsdorfer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raúl Adelsdorfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Leyton in the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Herradura AFC's goalkeeper Federico Uriondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tamariz De Smet d`Olbecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tamariz De Smet d`Olbecke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Uriondo having to interfere. José Antonio Rajcevich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raúl Adelsdorfer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. If Tamariz De Smet d`Olbecke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Federico Uriondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Herradura AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Herradura AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Uriondo should have stopped the shot. Raúl Adelsdorfer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Leyton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Dino Suarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Molle AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Jonathan Leyton came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Herradura AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Leyton couldn't finish the play. Lucián Peñaranda charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucián Peñaranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Herradura AFC booed when Molle AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucián Peñaranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Herradura AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Molle AFC. Joel Daniels stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Federico Uriondo. 3-1. After 93 minutes, Igor Jozic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herradura AFC and the Molle AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Igor Jozic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Molle AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
