Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonathan Leyton took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Jonathan Leyton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Leyton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ermegildo Schele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Damascal AFC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Schele, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Damascal AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Herradura AFC:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Herradura AFC. Pablo Cristofanini stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ermegildo Schele. 1-0. After 19 played minutes Herradura AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Warner. Ermegildo Schele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Leyton in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Juan Estevan Varela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Damascal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Estevan Varela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Herradura AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Bauzá came free, but Federico Uriondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herradura AFC's Alfonso Warner got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Damascal AFC booed when Herradura AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Jozic didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes of play Damascal AFC's Guillermo Pérez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Damascal AFC's Guillermo Pérez got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, José Antonio Rajcevich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herradura AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Antonio Rajcevich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Schele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eleuterio Bauzá stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Herradura AFC's Federico Uriondo got control of the ball when Eleuterio Bauzá tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Herradura AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alfonso Warner hit a great ball. In the 57th minute Flavio Bañados suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 57 minutes into the game, Aristeo Caldera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Damascal AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herradura AFC the free kick. After 58 played minutes Damascal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aristeo Caldera. Ermegildo Schele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Antonio Rajcevich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 played minutes Herradura AFC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Jozic. If José Antonio Rajcevich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Antonio Rajcevich in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Schele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Schele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Antonio Rajcevich in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Igor Jozic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herradura AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Jozic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
