Herradura AFC's Federico Uriondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan María Koch in the 7th minute of play. Igor Jozic kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Baldomiro Ipinza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Uriondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Ipinza in the 12th minute of the match. Baldomiro Ipinza might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Uriondo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Ipinza ran back to his position shaking his head. Juan María Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Uriondo having to interfere. Alexis Alcayaga was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Alexis Alcayaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disvandis Phillips took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Jozic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 30 minutes, Máximo Macaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
