Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nereo Malbec got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of CS Magallanes booed when Bodeguilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarías Chorroco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korneliusz Brzeszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebulón Magnasco having to interfere. Zebulón Magnasco made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Korneliusz Brzeszczak sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Bodeguilla FC's Zebulón Magnasco got control of the ball when Michal Masopust tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 11 minutes, Oscar Mallea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bodeguilla FC and the CS Magallanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Bodeguilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Mallea. Tony Ekblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zebulón Magnasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CS Magallanes's Korneliusz Brzeszczak got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Egemen Tecik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CS Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bodeguilla FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in CS Magallanes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! CS Magallanes:s Elias Diaz de León showed great skill when he stopped Emilio Felipe Abbott:s penalty. Emilio Felipe Abbott took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Diaz de León. Elias Diaz de León dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salomón Bassenge in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Diaz de León saved CS Magallanes from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Malbec in the 35th minute of play forced CS Magallanes's goalkeeper Elias Diaz de León to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zygmunt Kochanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zebulón Magnasco having to interfere. Zygmunt Kochanowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zebulón Magnasco came out and tried to block the shot, but Zygmunt Kochanowski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the game, CS Magallanes's Per-Olof Skålberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zebulón Magnasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Korneliusz Brzeszczak to strike the kick off in the second half. When Korneliusz Brzeszczak came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the CS Magallanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korneliusz Brzeszczak couldn't finish the play. Korneliusz Brzeszczak scored 4-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zebulón Magnasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michal Masopust's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zebulón Magnasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Zebulón Magnasco came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by CS Magallanes's Michal Masopust. But to his dismay, Michal Masopust quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Zebulón Magnasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ubaldo Devilat went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Korneliusz Brzeszczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zebulón Magnasco was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute Korneliusz Brzeszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebulón Magnasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zebulón Magnasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Kochanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 91 minutes of play, CS Magallanes's Korneliusz Brzeszczak made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zebulón Magnasco was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Carlos Hernán Marx managed to get in a good position for a shot. CS Magallanes's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Hernán Marx was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zebulón Magnasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that CS Magallanes were the better team. CS Magallanes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
