Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 100) Bellavista's Filiberto Ferrero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xalvador Alava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Marc Galván tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Ovalle's goalkeeper Marc Galván had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xalvador Alava. Marc Galván took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Ferrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alirio Gebauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucián Esquivel hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Disvandis Acuña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard, long distance shot from Constancio Vuskovic flew over the goal. Alirio Gebauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Lawrence in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Miliano Angellotti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ovalle's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bellavista the free kick. In the 25th minute, Miliano Angellotti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xalvador Alava got free with Marc Galván in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Ovalle's zone, Filiberto Ferrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Galván came out of the goal and Filiberto Ferrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xalvador Alava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Bellavista's goal looked a bit too open when Disvandis Acuña came free, but Alirio Gebauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimeno Lawrence to strike the kick off in the second half. Disvandis Acuña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Alirio Gebauer made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Disvandis Acuña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovalle's supporters rose to their feet, but Disvandis Acuña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alirio Gebauer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alirio Gebauer stood somewhat misplaced when Disvandis Acuña came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 57 minute. If Disvandis Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Ovalle's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Ferrero came free, but Marc Galván reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bellavista's Evaristo Tindall got a free kick in the 69th minute. Brian Vino, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alirio Gebauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Lawrence in the 78th minute of the match. If Xalvador Alava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute, Filiberto Ferrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Disvandis Acuña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovalle's supporters rose to their feet, but Disvandis Acuña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alirio Gebauer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 minutes, Lucián Esquivel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bellavista and the Ovalle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucián Esquivel kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Jimeno Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disvandis Acuña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Alirio Gebauer made a huge save. When Filiberto Ferrero came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Bellavista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Ferrero couldn't finish the play. Xalvador Alava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Galván having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ovalle had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
