Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quique Aulestia made a kick off. In the 57th minute Quique Aulestia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino De la Fuente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Manu Moñiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Quique Aulestia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Saturnino De la Fuente was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adelmo Quijada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tito Vaccia in the 76th minute of play. Adelmo Quijada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tito Vaccia in the 89th minute of the match.
