Lacedemonios F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Schmauk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gaston Arco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Manghy struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. César Van Dijk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lacedemonios F.C.. Maxín Parrasia charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maxín Parrasia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Pumiri got a freekick which was hit by Maxín Parrasia. When Amador Painecura fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lacedemonios F.C.'s protests and gave Amador Painecura a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Lacedemonios F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Painecura to maneuver through the defense. Enrico Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Arco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erik Schmauk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Zamora having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lacedemonios F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrico Zamora, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaston Arco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Zamora having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rigoberto Amigo to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Schmauk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute Gaston Arco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrico Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, Lacedemonios F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Painecura to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Arco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Enrico Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute of the match, Erik Schmauk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Enrico Zamora was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 80 minutes into the match, Pumiri's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Amigo came free, but César Van Dijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepe Camaño's late challenge caught a Pumiri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pepe Camaño helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lacedemonios F.C.'s Pepe Camaño got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 91 minutes of play, Pumiri's Erik Schmauk made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrico Zamora was left in no man's land by his defense there! César Van Dijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Manghy in the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Pumiri could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lacedemonios F.C. throughout the match.
