In the 17th match minute, Villucura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Manhood to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Villucura's Lolo Ogalde slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Honorato Collados. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 25th minute, Lolo Ogalde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lolo Ogalde in the 27th minute of play forced Furiangueros's goalkeeper Honorato Collados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Villucura's zone, Zbyszko Tokarczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Rueda came out of the goal and Zbyszko Tokarczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Ignacio Maquieira was slow to take the kick. During this time Furiangueros's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Víctor Javier Mendoza advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-1 in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Higinio Azoca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Honorato Collados was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, Villucura's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Ignacio Maquieira came free, but Erik Rueda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
