Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The crowd rose to their feet as Horno's Román Andrews slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tanio Bulnes. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Nauzet Montoya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Tanio Bulnes made a huge save. The supporters of Illapata booed when Horno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Mondaca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlo Carreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tanio Bulnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanio Bulnes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlo Carreto in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Illapata's zone, Nauzet Montoya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanio Bulnes came out of the goal and Nauzet Montoya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlo Carreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanio Bulnes having to interfere. If Nauzet Montoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Illapata's zone, Ceferino Mondaca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanio Bulnes came out of the goal and Ceferino Mondaca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes, Aldo Casos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Illapata and the Horno players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Horno booed when Illapata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Casos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlo Carreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tanio Bulnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikel Yavar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Odín Orrego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlo Carreto struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Tanio Bulnes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horno. Odín Orrego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Denton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rodolfo Altamirano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Carlo Carreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horno's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlo Carreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanio Bulnes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Mikel Yavar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Horno's zone, Mikel Yavar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Altamirano came out of the goal and Mikel Yavar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Mikel Yavar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Horno getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Carlo Carreto hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Mikel Yavar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Illapata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Illapata's Tanio Bulnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Carreto in the 87th minute of play. Carlo Carreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Tanio Bulnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Nemesio Jorquera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horno walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
