The supporters of Macul booed when Toca y Mete Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Pablo Alamos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macul's Ruyman Paravic couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Toca y Mete Fc. Washington Otazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Arriaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Mioño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Monte charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Monte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Toca y Mete Fc getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Luis Monte hit a great ball. Washington Otazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Silviano Teran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Macul got a freekick which was hit by Elias Hetz. Sebastiano Badal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bernardo Arriaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Toca y Mete Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastiano Badal came free, but Bernardo Arriaza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Arriaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Esteban in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Toca y Mete Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ever Arenas to maneuver through the defense. Sebastiano Badal spun around in front of the goal 42 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Toca y Mete Fc's goal. Washington Otazo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Silviano Teran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Winkler in the 51st minute of play forced Macul's goalkeeper Silviano Teran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52nd play minutes Pedro Mioño shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Bernardo Arriaza and just under the crossbar into goal. Sebastiano Badal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Bernardo Arriaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastiano Badal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Arriaza having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Toca y Mete Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ever Arenas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 63 minutes, Sebastiano Badal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastiano Badal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 played minutes Toca y Mete Fc got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Iribarra. Toca y Mete Fc's Celedonio Winkler got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toca y Mete Fc's Bernardo Arriaza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Toca y Mete Fc from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the game, Sebastiano Badal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardo Arriaza. Sebastiano Badal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. In the 92nd minute, Sebastiano Badal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pedro Mioño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Macul supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Macul would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
