Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Illapata's Mikel Yavar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mateo Dumont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikel Yavar in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 played minutes, Huallilemu's Marcelino Davidovits shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tanio Bulnes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Huallilemu reached it. Tanio Bulnes stood somewhat misplaced when Celino Adduard came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. Mikel Yavar took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Dumont. Mateo Dumont dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Illapata's Juan María Maristany got a free kick in the 21st minute. Nemesio Jorquera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mateo Dumont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Omar Denton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Dumont didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mikel Yavar went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Celino Adduard made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, one of Huallilemu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, Illapata's Aldo Casos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mateo Dumont. After 58 minutes, Marcelino Davidovits mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huallilemu and the Illapata players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Huallilemu getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marcelino Davidovits hit a great ball. Tanio Bulnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celino Adduard in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Denton got free with Mateo Dumont in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 minutes, Mikel Yavar made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Huallilemu's Mateo Dumont tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 played minutes Illapata got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Bonilla. In the 84th minute, Luciano Izquierdo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huallilemu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 89 minutes into the match, Illapata's goal looked a bit too open when Celino Adduard came free, but Tanio Bulnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Jorquera during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Illapata's Nemesio Jorquera got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Celino Adduard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celino Adduard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Huallilemu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Illapata's performance. The match ended with a win for Illapata.
