Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 29 minutes, Nemesio Jorquera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Illapata and the Macul players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Illapata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Jorquera to maneuver through the defense. Silviano Teran had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Aldo Casos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Omar Denton took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silviano Teran. Silviano Teran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Illapata's Tanio Bulnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastiano Badal in the 87th minute of play. Ruperto Mejia hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Illapata's Mikel Yavar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Mikel Yavar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviano Teran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Marcelo Epulef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
