Baldomiro Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Yoel Chandia could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Rolando Cristi however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Aisen FC's Javier Benoit got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Romualdo Katalinic who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hospital's Robert Jeréz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
