In the 4th minute of the match Patricio Zamudio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Jeréz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roberto Oliva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miliano Pomar having to interfere. Yoel Chandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miliano Pomar having to interfere. Licanchen AFC's Miliano Pomar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Oliva in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Daza during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robert Jeréz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noé Abasolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hospital's Robert Jeréz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eber Dessauer in the 19th minute of play. Robert Jeréz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eber Dessauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Roberto Oliva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miliano Pomar having to interfere. Robert Jeréz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eber Dessauer in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Licanchen AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marín Mauad. Yoel Chandia hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Licanchen AFC! Teodosio Chacon shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Oliva in the 43rd minute of play forced Licanchen AFC's goalkeeper Miliano Pomar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Javier Marco kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Hospital's attack was well implemented in the 47th minute, but when Yoel Chandia was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick.

If Yoel Chandia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miliano Pomar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yoel Chandia went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Robert Jeréz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Licanchen AFC's Eber Dessauer. But to his dismay, Eber Dessauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 76 minutes into the match, Hospital's goal looked a bit too open when Noé Abasolo came free, but Robert Jeréz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eber Dessauer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Robert Jeréz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Yoel Chandia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miliano Pomar was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Yoel Chandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
