Honorio Alcayaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Aizpuru having to interfere. In the 21st minute Honorio Alcayaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Aizpuru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renato Aizpuru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Alcayaga in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Legacy F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Américo Apaulaza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 26th minute, Américo Apaulaza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Próspero Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Próspero Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremías Soler in the 34th minute of play forced Trabunco's goalkeeper Eleuterio Machuca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Trabunco's zone, Jeremías Soler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Machuca came out of the goal and Jeremías Soler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Apaulaza got free with Renato Aizpuru in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorio Alcayaga might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renato Aizpuru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Alcayaga ran back to his position shaking his head. Américo Apaulaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Aizpuru having to interfere. In the 47th play minute Américo Apaulaza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Renato Aizpuru. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremías Soler made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Jeremías Soler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Adriano Fadda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Aizpuru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Apaulaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Américo Apaulaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleuterio Machuca was a little too slow when Conrado Messia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-1. Conrado Messia hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Américo Apaulaza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Schiappacasse kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Adriano Fadda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Eleuterio Machuca made a huge save. A collision led to Trabunco getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Justo Larrea hit a great ball. Jeremías Soler spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Trabunco's goal. In the 92nd minute Jeremías Soler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Machuca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 93rd minute of the match Próspero Hoffmann completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Próspero Hoffmann a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Próspero Hoffmann hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. If Adriano Fadda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
