Soriano Neruda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Ekewern FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Soriano Neruda to maneuver through the defense. Marco Abaitua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferrando Ariza, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hundido's Abraham Delgadillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robustiano Fenner. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Serafín Varletta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hundido's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafín Varletta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Fenner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abraham Delgadillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Robustiano Fenner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hundido's Marco Abaitua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicent Beiza in the 25th minute of play. Marco Azócar kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicent Beiza in the 36th minute of play forced Hundido's goalkeeper Marco Abaitua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Delgadillo in the 38th minute of play forced Ekewern FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Fenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 39 minutes on the clock, Marco Azócar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 41st minute of the match Soriano Neruda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marco Abaitua showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Francisco Miguel Flotow was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekewern FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hundido the free kick.

53 minutes into the match, Hundido's goal looked a bit too open when Vicent Beiza came free, but Marco Abaitua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Miguel Flotow got free with Marco Abaitua in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ekewern FC booed when Hundido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafín Varletta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Delgadillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Francisco Miguel Flotow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Delgadillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Robustiano Fenner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ekewern FC's Tito Gutiérrez got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ekewern FC's Robustiano Fenner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Delgadillo in the 68th minute of play. Godofredo Olate, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vicent Beiza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Hundido fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Hundido's Abraham Delgadillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 86 minutes into the match, Abraham Delgadillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robustiano Fenner. Ekewern FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Delgadillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Abraham Delgadillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferrando Ariza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hundido fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ekewern FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
