Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Norberto Domínguez started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Joaquin Cofquecura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maquegua FC and the Ancud players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maquegua FC's Joaquin Cofquecura got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Xosé Errázuriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xosé Errázuriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quique Maillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quique Maillard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Quique Maillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Quique Maillard came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ancud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quique Maillard couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Cresenciano Rioseco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Norberto Domínguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victorio Menichetti made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Quique Maillard sent off a good shot on target. After 37 minutes, Quique Maillard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ancud and the Maquegua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ancud getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Quique Maillard hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, one of Maquegua FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maquegua FC. The referee gave Ancud a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Genaro Mosquera, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Maquegua FC's Victorio Menichetti. 1-0. With his leg Victorio Menichetti managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Ancud's Quique Maillard fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xosé Errázuriz made a kick off. Mariano White might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Anastassiou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano White ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 55th match minute, Ancud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresenciano Rioseco to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Menichetti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quique Maillard in the 63rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Maquegua FC defense, Quique Maillard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorio Menichetti. The Maquegua FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorio Menichetti should have stopped the shot. Victorio Menichetti came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ancud's Xosé Errázuriz. But to his dismay, Xosé Errázuriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Xosé Errázuriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Victorio Menichetti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, Ancud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Mosquera to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Anastassiou made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Mariano White sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Maggiora kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Genaro Mosquera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quique Maillard in the 93rd minute of play forced Maquegua FC's goalkeeper Victorio Menichetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quique Maillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ancud walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
