Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Xosé Errázuriz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Desiderio Anastassiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Larrarte in the 5th minute of play. Telmo Teran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xosé Errázuriz in the 10th minute of play. Quique Maillard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Telmo Teran made a huge save. When Xosé Errázuriz came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ancud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xosé Errázuriz couldn't finish the play. Quique Maillard came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Telmo Teran could save by the left post. Xosé Errázuriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Telmo Teran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Telmo Teran made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Quique Maillard sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Ferrando Adasme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Anastassiou was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 23 minutes, Hermelando Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marimenuco FC and the Ancud players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cresenciano Rioseco kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ancud's goal looked a bit too open when Julián Lazcano came free, but Desiderio Anastassiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marín Ortuzar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Desiderio Anastassiou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Marimenuco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marín Ortuzar to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ancud's Genaro Mosquera tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marimenuco FC's Telmo Teran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Marimenuco FC from getting a goal against them. After 47 played minutes Ancud got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Mosquera. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferrando Adasme to make the kick off. Ferrando Adasme struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Desiderio Anastassiou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marimenuco FC. A collision led to Ancud getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Raimundo Iribarren hit a great ball. If Rogelio Larrarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cresenciano Rioseco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Telmo Teran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cresenciano Rioseco kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Rogelio Larrarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Ferrando Adasme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Anastassiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Marimenuco FC's Rogelio Larrarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Anastassiou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marimenuco FC's Telmo Teran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xosé Errázuriz in the 75th minute of play. Desiderio Anastassiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferrando Adasme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Marimenuco FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Fabio Ditzel hit a great ball. If Quique Maillard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marimenuco FC's Ferrando Adasme in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ancud's goalie prevented a goal. Ferrando Adasme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Anastassiou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
