Miromir Grondzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Domínguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Angelino Vuskovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Odín Wassermayer from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Miromir Grondzki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Miromir Grondzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Domínguez in the 19th minute of the match. Diego Swett struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Victorio Menichetti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universidad de Los Andes.
