Noé Alzola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreo Benito in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Universidad Catolica's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco José Delgadillo came free, but Javier Marull reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eber Acle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Totoralillo FC's goalkeeper Noé Alzola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicanor Paetz. Eber Acle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Noé Alzola having to make a save. After some careless play in the Totoralillo FC defense, Andreo Benito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noé Alzola. The Totoralillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noé Alzola should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Nicanor Paetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Universidad Catolica's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Paetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noé Alzola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eber Acle came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Universidad Catolica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eber Acle couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Silvestre Daneri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Marull. Universidad Catolica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Daneri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Andreo Benito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noé Alzola having to interfere. Eber Acle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eber Acle got free with Noé Alzola in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreo Benito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Noé Alzola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicanor Paetz made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Andreo Benito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eber Acle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noé Alzola having to interfere. In the 60th minute Andreo Benito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noé Alzola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eber Acle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nicanor Paetz came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Universidad Catolica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Paetz couldn't finish the play. After 67 played minutes Totoralillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Larrarte. Noé Alzola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreo Benito in the 69th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Universidad Catolica's Eber Acle made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noé Alzola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andreo Benito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Paetz got in the 83rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Noé Alzola handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Noé Alzola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eber Acle in the 84th minute of play. Luis Lapierre was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 87 minutes into the match. Javier Marull didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmacio Longa went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Universidad Catolica were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Totoralillo FC to leave the ground with a draw.
