The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Claro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Baudelio Alliende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gustavo Claro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fulco Abella went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Silvestre Cruchaga charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Cruchaga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Changal AFC booed when Collacollane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Cruchaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Changal AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Collacollane were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermelando Mahotiere stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Claro made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Miguel Ángel Maiz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baudelio Alliende in the 71st minute of play forced Collacollane's goalkeeper Omar Aeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermelando Mahotiere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Omar Aeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Changal AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miguel Ángel Maiz 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, one of Collacollane:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 92 minutes into the match, Collacollane's Miguel Ángel Maiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Claro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Changal AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Collacollane's performance. The match ended with a win for Collacollane.
