Juan María Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Tauno Valmas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Manuel Massa took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Pirola. Pablo Pirola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Teodor Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Oscar Barcena was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Cacique's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Manuel Massa came free, but Pablo Pirola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Normando Barbero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manuel Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Pirola having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Lois Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pepinos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lois Martínez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Pirola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernán Barreau got free with Tauno Valmas in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tauno Valmas made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Hernán Barreau sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Pepinos F.C. booed when Cacique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernán Barreau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernán Barreau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tauno Valmas having to interfere. Pablo Pirola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lois Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes, Cacique's Miquel Gebauer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tauno Valmas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cacique reached it. The Cacique players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pepinos F.C. were winning 0-1.

51 minutes into the match, Cacique's goalkeeper Pablo Pirola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Manuel Massa. Pedro Manuel Massa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Pablo Pirola when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 53 minutes, Normando Barbero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pepinos F.C. and the Cacique players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pepinos F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Normando Barbero hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Hernán Barreau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pablo Pirola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lois Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manuel Massa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 67th playminute. Pedro Manuel Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Pablo Pirola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lois Martínez ran back to his position shaking his head. Pablo Pirola was a little too slow when Lois Martínez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-4. After a rather tough play, Cacique's Eufrasio Alcalde got a free kick in the 95th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lois Martínez in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Pirola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Pepinos F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cacique throughout the match.
