Estebano Ruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviano Carranza in the 9th minute of the match. Estebano Ruz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Flamenco's Pedro José Ballero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Andreo Donaire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Graumann having to interfere. If Silviano Carranza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes, Casimír Iturbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportes Concepcion and the Flamenco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Casimír Iturbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manuel Magallanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Estebano Ruz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Silviano Carranza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Estebano Ruz was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, Flamenco's Samuel Graumann got control of the ball when Benicio Zercalde tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviano Carranza in the 59th minute of play forced Deportes Concepcion's goalkeeper Estebano Ruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manuel Magallanes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
