Leoncio Margulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Alfonso Marambio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leoncio Margulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremías Frost, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Rinihue's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremías Frost came free, but Leoncio Margulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mujica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rinihue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guallatire AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rinihue's Guillermo Mujica got a free kick in the 31st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rinihue fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Leoncio Margulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremías Frost in the 38th minute of play. Rinihue's Leoncio Margulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Alfonso Marambio in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Virgilio Riveros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nazario Lois was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rinihue's Guillermo Mujica got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Guillermo Mujica off the ground. Guillermo Mujica kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Leoncio Margulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Alfonso Marambio in the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Alfonso Marambio to make the kick off. Juan Alfonso Marambio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leoncio Margulis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rinihue's zone, Jeremías Frost stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leoncio Margulis came out of the goal and Jeremías Frost tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rinihue's Leoncio Margulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Rinihue from getting a goal against them. Juan Alfonso Marambio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leoncio Margulis having to interfere. Jeremías Frost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Leoncio Margulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Jaume Grillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rinihue and the Guallatire AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 81 in the game by Jeremías Frost from a close distance when the talented Leoncio Margulis managed to make a qualified save. Rinihue's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Alfonso Marambio in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leoncio Margulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eduard Viveros kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Leoncio Margulis made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Jeremías Frost sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Rinihue's zone, Juan Alfonso Marambio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leoncio Margulis came out of the goal and Juan Alfonso Marambio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Rinihue supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guallatire AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guallatire AFC.
