An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Zercalde in the 60th minute of play forced Tocontase's goalkeeper Regino Talledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, Tocontase's Fidelio Massenlli got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Estebano Ruz. Benicio Zercalde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dino Goicoechea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 101st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Deportes Concepcion fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tocontase were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
