Huiscape's Vincente Florido got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pileo AFC's Filomeno Rosas got a free kick in the 16th minute. Adrián Aris's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Regino Cea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vincente Florido scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Ugas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laureano Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A hard shot by Alberto Zercalde from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Regino Cea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 34th match minute, Huiscape was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Fuenzalida to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Alberto Zercalde shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Regino Cea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ferrán Cardemil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Regino Cea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Adrián Aris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regino Cea having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincente Florido was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Vincente Florido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uriel Ugas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Arcadio Roques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Uriel Ugas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Uriel Ugas, was totally fooled by Huiscape's Toni Bertrand, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Adrián Aris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Regino Cea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferrán Cardemil, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Regino Cea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferrán Cardemil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Vincente Florido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferrán Cardemil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrián Aris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regino Cea having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Huiscape had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
