Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ernesto Cauffmann took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ernesto Cauffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Cauffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute, Ernesto Cauffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Cauffmann in the 8th minute of play forced Arrayan's goalkeeper Fabio Baburizza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferrando Valdebenito charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferrando Valdebenito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferrando Valdebenito kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Aureo Fornes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Baburizza. Arrayan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arrayan's Ubaldo Matildo Amezqueta got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute Ernesto Cauffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Baburizza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Ernesto Cauffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fabio Baburizza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Aguayo during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Godofredo Aguayo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Escalante in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Baburizza saved Arrayan from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Carlo Escalante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner ended in Aureo Fornes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arrayan's Fabio Baburizza did a great save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasco Segovia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Cauffmann was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. Calvario AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Carlo Escalante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Baburizza having to interfere. Ernesto Cauffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Baburizza having to interfere. Vasco Segovia might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xabel Oyuela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vasco Segovia ran back to his position shaking his head. If Carlo Escalante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlo Escalante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute of the match Aureo Fornes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Baburizza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Carlo Escalante got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fabio Baburizza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Cauffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ubaldo Matildo Amezqueta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arrayan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Matildo Amezqueta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xabel Oyuela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Calvario AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Segovia came free, but Xabel Oyuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasco Segovia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Calvario AFC's zone, Vasco Segovia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xabel Oyuela came out of the goal and Vasco Segovia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute Vasco Segovia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xabel Oyuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match Francisco José Eguiguren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xabel Oyuela skillfully saved the ball. The Calvario AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Calvario AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
