With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darien Maillard in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reces Recciuc saved Ausipar FC from getting behind. Amado Del Pino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Cortés having to interfere. Darien Maillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Chocalan's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Barroso came free, but Roland Cortés reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Del Pino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tor Barreau hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Roland Cortés showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Del Pino, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 30 played minutes Chocalan got a freekick which was hit by Tor Barreau. In the 30th minute Higinio Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Cortés saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Ausipar FC were awarded a corner. Nicodemo Raab went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ceferino Toro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chocalan's Roland Cortés did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xulián Federici got free with Reces Recciuc in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 played minutes Ausipar FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Leiva. Reces Recciuc made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Xulián Federici sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darien Maillard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reces Recciuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xulián Federici in the 56th minute of play. Darien Maillard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Higinio Barroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Del Pino struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Roland Cortés didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ausipar FC. In the 73rd match minute, Ausipar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Abrigo, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 80th minute, Mauricio Ambrosetti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reces Recciuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xulián Federici in the 82nd minute of the match.
