Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) Garra Blanca FC's Teodosio Bauzá started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Garra Blanca FC's Teodosio Bauzá sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavi Cohen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 6 minutes, Eduardo Maritano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garra Blanca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Maritano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Simón Mahotiere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macul AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Simón Mahotiere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pere Salcedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garra Blanca FC's Pere Salcedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosalio Lacunza in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Macul AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Maximino Badilla hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Garra Blanca FC's Teodosio Bauzá slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xavi Cohen. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Simón Mahotiere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pere Salcedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simón Mahotiere struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Pere Salcedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macul AFC. Francisco Alberto Lawrence recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute Teodosio Bauzá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavi Cohen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Macul AFC's goalkeeper Xavi Cohen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Maritano. Pere Salcedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosalio Lacunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavi Cohen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jose Winter. When Teodosio Bauzá, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 45 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Xavi Cohen was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Frances Izamit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Macul AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Bauzá came free, but Xavi Cohen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosalio Lacunza was the one to do the kick off. Humberto Ibarrueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Macul AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario San Cristóbal to maneuver through the defense. Garra Blanca FC's Eduardo Maritano got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pere Salcedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosalio Lacunza in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Maritano in the 68th minute of play forced Macul AFC's goalkeeper Xavi Cohen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Badilla's late challenge caught a Garra Blanca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Badilla helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Garra Blanca FC booed when Macul AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Badilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Macul AFC's zone, Eduardo Maritano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavi Cohen came out of the goal and Eduardo Maritano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garra Blanca FC's Pere Salcedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosalio Lacunza in the 76th minute of play. Teodosio Bauzá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavi Cohen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Maritano in the 81st minute of play. Pere Salcedo came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Macul AFC's Simón Mahotiere. But to his dismay, Simón Mahotiere quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hilario San Cristóbal hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Simón Mahotiere recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pere Salcedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosalio Lacunza in the 94th minute of play. Pere Salcedo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Simón Mahotiere sent off a good shot on target. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
