In the 18th minute, Nicodemo Raab sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Macul AFC's Xavi Cohen didn't even have to move. Hilario San Cristóbal kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Xavi Cohen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nicodemo Raab. Maximino Badilla hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Macul AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Higinio Barroso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Amado Del Pino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Barroso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 42nd playminute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
