After a defensive mix-up in LoS XoGoLaCtIcOs's zone, Nicanor Araujo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Fernando Nicoletti came out of the goal and Nicanor Araujo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Maximiliano Aparicio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Jaque hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Noé Balcazar fired a really elegant long shot, but Adalberto Barrios threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Caupolicán Lynch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Maximiliano Aparicio managed to get in a good position for a shot. London FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Aparicio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Aparicio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Juan Fernando Nicoletti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The London FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing London FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
