Milián Zunino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 49thth minute tested the skills of Adalberto Barrios when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Marruecos AFC's Alirio Veloso got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Milián Zunino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marruecos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Milián Zunino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto Barrios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Marruecos AFC's Quintán Garriga got control of the ball when Nicanor Araujo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alirio Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Milián Zunino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alirio Veloso in the 94th minute of play forced London FC's goalkeeper Adalberto Barrios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marruecos AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
