Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Flavio Boza kicked off to start the match. Orlondón Melgarejo's late challenge caught a Chonchi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlondón Melgarejo helped the player get up and apologised. 3 minutes into the game, one of Trabzonspor:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Donato Fariña, was totally fooled by Chonchi AFC's Reyes Pellegrini, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Luis María Ovalle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esequiel Masson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 minutes of play, Trabzonspor's Flavio Boza made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zarpas Frost was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donato Fariña made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Luis María Ovalle sent off a good shot on target. Podador Quezada hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Esequiel Masson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chonchi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esequiel Masson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Fariña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chonchi AFC's Zarpas Frost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Boza in the 36th minute of play. If Leonides Lezaeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Trabzonspor booed when Chonchi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martino Kovasic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Lezaeta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Zarpas Frost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zarpas Frost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Lezaeta in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esequiel Masson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Boza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarpas Frost having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esequiel Masson in the 56th minute of play forced Trabzonspor's goalkeeper Donato Fariña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luis María Ovalle came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Chonchi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis María Ovalle couldn't finish the play. Donato Fariña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esequiel Masson in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Chonchi AFC's Esequiel Masson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Fariña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zarpas Frost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Boza in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Chonchi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcadio Alister to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Boza to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Luis María Ovalle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chonchi AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The supporters of Trabzonspor booed when Chonchi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urtsín Solminihac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Boza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zarpas Frost having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Trabzonspor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chonchi AFC.
