Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donato Fariña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoel Puyol, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Donato Fariña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoel Puyol in the 24th minute of play. The score was now 2-0. With his leg Donato Fariña managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Huentemo AFC's Edmundo Bello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Yoel Puyol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Donato Fariña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoel Puyol in the 42nd minute of the match. Quintán Peragallo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Donato Fariña skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quintán Peragallo got free with Donato Fariña in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zenón Vicencio charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zenón Vicencio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Donato Fariña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintán Peragallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes, Fermín Luna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trabzonspor and the Huentemo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elazar Fazzini was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Quintán Peragallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yoel Puyol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Trabzonspor defense, Yoel Puyol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Fariña. The Trabzonspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Fariña should have stopped the shot. When Yoel Puyol came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Huentemo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yoel Puyol couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Trabzonspor defense, Yoel Puyol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Fariña. The Trabzonspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Fariña should have stopped the shot.
