If Luis Jiménez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Quintán Peragallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dawson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, SDMN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quintán Peragallo came free, but Bernardino Dawson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elazar Fazzini hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Bernardino Dawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Bello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Dawson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Bello went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Lino Arcangel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Patxi Chiguaicura, passed just outside the right post. Quintán Peragallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patxi Chiguaicura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor Javier Riobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of SDMN FC booed when Huentemo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Echaiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, SDMN FC's Feliciano Lobo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After a rather tough play, Huentemo AFC's Edmundo Bello got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
