The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Donaire during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pallo booed when El Bulla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Peredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabián Burboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timeteo Liñán in the 83rd minute. After 86 minutes, Oliverio Zúñiga made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side.
