The supporters of El Bulla booed when Club Deportivo El Bosque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Angel Gallegos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldo Donaire took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Ignacio Vivero. Club Deportivo El Bosque's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Bulla reached it. Fabián Burboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo La Motte in the 89th minute of play. Máximo La Motte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabián Burboa having to interfere. Evelio Arizmendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabián Burboa having to interfere. El Bulla's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
