Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pailad FC's Milián Polo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Milián Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Almonacid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pailad FC's Tobías Faúndez got a free kick in the 11th minute. Roberto Claude made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Lazcano in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Pailad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Alen came free, but Roberto Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 played minutes Lecam AFC got a freekick which was hit by Elizalde Lacunza. Eric Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Roberto Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Milián Polo came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Pailad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milián Polo couldn't finish the play. If Nestor Alen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Lecam AFC booed when Pailad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobías Faúndez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Eloi Falcón mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pailad FC and the Lecam AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eloi Falcón hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Roberto Claude came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Lecam AFC's Eric Lazcano. But to his dismay, Eric Lazcano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th match minute, Pailad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Peñafiel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Milián Polo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pailad FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milián Polo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Cristóbal Bayo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Justo Almonacid when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Justo Almonacid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milián Polo in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Alen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Pailad FC's Juan Cristóbal Bayo in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lecam AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Otazo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lecam AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pailad FC the free kick. In the 61st minute, one of Lecam AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lecam AFC. The referee gave Pailad FC a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Estevan Popelaire, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lecam AFC's Justo Almonacid. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Alen in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Claude saved Pailad FC from getting behind. 69 minutes into the game, Milián Polo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Justo Almonacid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Nestor Lea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81stth minute of the game Milián Polo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lecam AFC's Justo Almonacid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Lecam AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Milián Polo came free, but Justo Almonacid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milián Polo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justo Almonacid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Nestor Alen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lecam AFC's goalkeeper Justo Almonacid, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pailad FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
