Chillaiza FC's Rogerio Morel got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rogerio Morel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vinicio Vives fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quim Oteiza having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Rogerio Morel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Quim Oteiza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chillaiza FC's goalkeeper Ronaldo Flechart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 minutes, Evelio Jungejohan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chichita AFC and the Chillaiza FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chichita AFC's Evelio Jungejohan got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of Chillaiza FC booed when Chichita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Jungejohan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Rogerio Morel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quim Oteiza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niguel Fuentealba lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 81st minute, one of Chillaiza FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chillaiza FC. Evelio Jungejohan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Daniel Otero kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chillaiza FC had won after a very even match.
