Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Higuerta's Normando Almonacid started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xabel Sepúlveda was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Quilquen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Higuerta's Vicent Mackenzie got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Quilquen's Luis Javier Victoriano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 10 minutes into the game, one of Higuerta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Pinone Vizcaya fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quilquen's protests and gave Pinone Vizcaya a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Quilquen got a freekick which was hit by Pinone Vizcaya. Ruyman Dechent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xabel Sepúlveda in the 20th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Xabel Sepúlveda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruyman Dechent, 2-0. In the 28th minute, Odón Malbrán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Velasco Godarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romano Otava in the 34th minute of the match. Normando Almonacid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Quilquen's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Almonacid came free, but Velasco Godarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reces Duval scored 3-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruyman Dechent, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xabel Sepúlveda to strike the kick off in the second half. Vicent Mackenzie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velasco Godarte having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Normando Almonacid fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Xabel Sepúlveda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Higuerta's Natalio Machado got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 62nd play minutes Xabel Sepúlveda shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Ruyman Dechent and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 65th minute, Xabel Sepúlveda made a precise shot to the right of Ruyman Dechent. Higuerta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The supporters of Quilquen booed when Higuerta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicent Mackenzie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Higuerta's Ruyman Dechent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabel Sepúlveda in the 78th minute of play. If Xabel Sepúlveda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Quilquen getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Oscar Chamorro hit a great ball. The supporters of Higuerta booed when Quilquen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odón Malbrán didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Romano Otava got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quilquen's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
