Velasco Godarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Francisco Camus, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Quilquen booed when Manquimavida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Francisco Camus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Velasco Godarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Ballesteros in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Quilquen's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Ballesteros came free, but Velasco Godarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicodemo Zumelzu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Xabel Sepúlveda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gregorio Obanos, 1-0. José Ignacio Thompson's late challenge caught a Quilquen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Francisco Camus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velasco Godarte having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Reces Duval who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manquimavida FC's Gregorio Obanos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marciano Ballesteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Velasco Godarte having to interfere. Marcos Francisco Camus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Velasco Godarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Manquimavida FC's Velasco Godarte threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marciano Ballesteros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 79th minute, Odón Malbrán hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andreo Veliz, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Luis Menichetti during the 83rd minute.
