If Visen Millán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Normando Almonacid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higuerta's supporters rose to their feet, but Normando Almonacid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amato Pellegrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 19 minutes, Visen Millán made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Higuerta's Ruyman Dechent tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Higuerta's Ruyman Dechent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Visen Millán in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Quetro's Camilo Andrea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quetro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexis Lautroup was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Camilo Andrea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruyman Dechent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Julio Evans got free with Ruyman Dechent in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Visen Millán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ruyman Dechent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Higuerta getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Giancarlo Urbina hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Andrea got free with Ruyman Dechent in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruyman Dechent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Visen Millán in the 89th minute of the match. Quetro's Visen Millán got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Normando Almonacid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
