After 9 minutes, Vasco Mac Courtney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Americana and the Quile FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Quile FC a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramiro Moyano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Americana's Selmo Rojo. 0-1. A hard shot 14 in the game by Mannuel Garbiso from a close distance when the talented Bernardino Gramusset managed to make a qualified save. Quile FC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Quile FC's zone, Mannuel Garbiso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Gramusset came out of the goal and Mannuel Garbiso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Selmo Rojo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Quile FC's Teodosio Huaquil. But to his dismay, Teodosio Huaquil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With his leg Bernardino Gramusset managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Americana's Mannuel Garbiso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 28 minutes of play, Quile FC's Juan Pedro Maggiora made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Selmo Rojo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute, Victorio Cervantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Teodosio Huaquil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Quile FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Gramusset had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mannuel Garbiso. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quile FC's goalkeeper Bernardino Gramusset, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Victorio Cervantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mannuel Garbiso to make the kick off. Mannuel Garbiso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Gramusset having to interfere. Bernardino Gramusset stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Victoriano's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Americana's Mannuel Garbiso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Gramusset narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Israel Browne's late challenge caught a Americana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Mannuel Garbiso came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Americana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mannuel Garbiso couldn't finish the play. Mannuel Garbiso got in the 80th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bernardino Gramusset handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Bernardino Gramusset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Cervantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Gramusset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mannuel Garbiso in the 85th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Americana were awarded a corner. Vasco Mac Courtney went to the cornerflag to take it. After 91 played minutes Quile FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Moyano.
