Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jose Ramon Alzaga took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Jose Ramon Alzaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Guatin FC defense, Gerónimo Ansaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Estevan Cumplido. The Guatin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Estevan Cumplido should have stopped the shot. Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Ramon Alzaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Jacinto Opazo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Fabri in the 11th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Juan Jose Bernales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Horacio Faivovich sped through Guatin FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Estevan Cumplido. Juan Estevan Cumplido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Faivovich in the 30th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Gerónimo Ansaldo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerónimo Ansaldo got free with Juan Estevan Cumplido in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guatin FC's Juan Estevan Cumplido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Faivovich in the 41st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horacio Faivovich was the one to do the kick off. When Horacio Faivovich came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Ilque AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Faivovich couldn't finish the play. Gerónimo Ansaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Juan Estevan Cumplido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Guatin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerónimo Ansaldo came free, but Juan Estevan Cumplido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Faivovich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Juan Estevan Cumplido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Ramon Alzaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guatin FC's César Fabri got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
